September 15 Community Meeting
Seattle Public Schools Superintendent Ben Shuldiner joins us at Church of the Ascension and on Zoom to deliver a State of the District address and take community questions. Submit a question in advance by Thursday, September 10.
Fort Lawton
The Office of Housing has released a second Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement studying three alternatives. Public comment closes Tuesday, September 8. MCC is informational and is not taking a position.
Albertsons Site
A new team is assembling a larger site at the Albertsons block. The proposal is not yet in formal review with the City.
Mounger Pool
Parks declined our request to extend Mounger through September and is expanding fall swim options at Ballard, Evans and Medgar Evers while Queen Anne Pool is closed.
