The Magnolia Chorale Presents “Harmonies of Hope”
Magnolia Chorale after 35th anniversary concert May 2024.
Magnolia Chorale will perform its spring concert— “Harmonies of Hope”—on May 3 & 4th at Magnolia Lutheran Church. This unique repertoire explores the struggles of war, a longing for peace, and the hope that carries us forward.
The pieces range from R. Vaughan Williams’ Dona Nobis Pacem, a powerful and deeply moving plea for peace, to “Una Sanõsa Porfía” a Renaissance piece by Juan del Encina, to the poignant “We’ll Meet Again” ballad from World War II. A special highlight will be Naomi
LaViolette’s “Racing the Moon” winner of Magnolia Chorale’s inaugural “Call for Scores”.

West Magnolia Hub Emergency Communication Meeting

The first hour, Cindi & Frank will repeat December’s Hub 101: what a Hub is, is not and practice handling incoming information.
The second hour we will cover ways to collect, store, MAP and share information with our local community, other Hubs and the City.
